Alpen Villa 5
Ski-In/Out 2BR, Hot Tub, Fireplace, Waterfalls
There are more waterfalls per square mile in the Western Upper Peninsula than almost anywhere in the Midwest. Five named cascades along Black River Road. Agate Falls. Bond Falls. Alpen Villa 5 puts you in the center of it, and the Iron Belle Trail runs right through the region for cyclists and hikers looking for real distance in real wilderness.
The condo is 1,000 square feet built for eight: two bedrooms, a full bathroom plus a half bath, a well-equipped kitchen, and a wood-burning fireplace with firewood provided. Grill on your private balcony, soak in the hot tub on the lower deck shared with Alpen Villa 6, and wind down at one of the two community firepits at the ends of the building. Inside, Pac-Man is always available.
Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort is steps away in winter. Come summer, this is a true four-season basecamp. Alpen Villa 5 connects to Alpen Villa 6 for groups of up to 16.
Connects to Alpen Villa 6. Book both for one 4-bedroom space that sleeps 16, with the shared deck and hot tub right outside. No other villa connects to this one.

Reviews
“We had an amazing stay! Everything is provided for you and a very responsive host, whenever you need or ask something, they’ll address it right away. The hot tub was the best part for me and to my family. It was the perfect way to relax after we had a long day. The game table was nostalgic and my kids even my husband enjoyed playing with it.”
“Great stay for a family ski trip, ski in, ski out which was perfect. Although the units are older, the owners have made nice upgrades: comfortable, new beds, GREAT cookware/ kitchen, and nice amenities such as hot chocolate bar, coffee tea, spices- much more than a normal rental. Hot tub was great too!”
“Absolutely love the ski in/ ski out access and wonderful unit. Has literally everything you need for cooking in the kitchen. WIFI good and hot tub was nice and hot! Very comfortable and clean. Perfect ski trip!”
